Old World Charm

About this piece

Old World Charm gathers a rotary telephone, globe, folding camera, gramophone and typewriter into a playful collection of familiar objects from another era. Loose black linework, bright blocks of colour and candy-striped paper give each object its own place while celebrating the pleasure of things made to be held, used and remembered.

The artwork is reproduced as an A5 art print on 300 gsm poster-paper card, a substantial format that can be framed, pinned or placed on a small shelf without overwhelming the space.

It works well in a gallery wall, reading corner, entryway or desk arrangement, and makes a thoughtful house-warming or travel-memory gift for someone who recognises the place, food or feeling depicted.

The original artwork and product design are by Aishwarya Ashok for Rue Des Arts. Each piece is produced in a small batch, checked in the studio and packed with care for delivery across India.
