About this piece

Fika turns coffee, baked treats and a patterned café table into an invitation to pause. The artwork borrows from the Swedish idea of making time for coffee and company, creating a warm food print for breakfast nooks, desks and quiet corners.

The artwork is reproduced as an A5 art print on 300 gsm poster-paper card, a substantial format that can be framed, pinned or placed on a small shelf without overwhelming the space.

It works well in a gallery wall, reading corner, entryway or desk arrangement, and makes a thoughtful house-warming or travel-memory gift for someone who recognises the place, food or feeling depicted.

The original artwork and product design are by Aishwarya Ashok for Rue Des Arts. Each piece is produced in a small batch, checked in the studio and packed with care for delivery across India.
